The very generous Silvana was kind enough to send me some goodies to review. I received the following –
- A pale beige liquid foundation
- Silk radiance powder (the lighter of the two)
- Shimmering shade of lipstick (Liptoxyl rouge bronze beauty)
I was surprised to receive so many products as these are far from cheap. However I certainly believe that you get what you pay for. You can definitely tell when using these products they are of a fantastic, lasting quality and you get the desired look it says on the label.
Rather than me detailing the pros of each product (i.e. copying from the website) I have instead linked the products above so you can have a nosey and I am going to give my personal opinion on each.
First up the mineral liquid powder foundation, broad spectrum spf50 30ml. I was sent this product in pale beige which unfortunately doesn’t match my skin which I’m absolutely gutted about. This self setting, liquid powder foundation infused with antioxidants and minerals hydrates and conditions the skin. This offers medium coverage with sun protection and is oil free.
When squeezing the product from its soft pouch it appears thick as opposed to other running foundations I have used in the past. However when you apply this to the skin it is soft, silky, and moisturising. It offers great coverage and is very lightweight without an overpowering smell. I wish I’d gone with a lighter colour as this is certainly a foundation to keep within your options.
The silk radiance powder comes in a cute black compact with a mirror. I absolutely love the mix of shimmering colours they’re a perfect combination for my skin. I simply sweep my brush around in a circle movement once my make up is complete and apply to my cheekbones to highlight. You can choose to put this product anywhere you fancy but that’s where I use it. I love the glowing finish it gives me.
The first moment I opened this lipstick I instantly thought ‘great! I clearly chose the best colour, not!’ I suppose I thought this wouldn’t suit me. It took me a few days before I built up the courage to apply this. I was completely shocked at how gorgeous the colour and pigments in this lipstick are. It’s a beautiful shade giving off an almost 2 tone effect with gold pigments. The lipstick is long-lasting, very moisturising and one of my favourites by far!
I was very kindly sent 2 products from Saturated Colour to trial including their new highlighter pencil.
Saturated colour is a UK brand offering shades for everyone. They’re cruelty free, offering innovative ideas and a selection of vegan products.
I’m such a girly at heart and love all things pink. The moment I saw the ‘Naked Pink‘ lipstick I fell in love. It’s so me and a gorgeous shade of pink. I have not stopped wearing this since it arrived. Retailing at a very reasonable £7 you cannot go wrong with this product. Just be sure to keep it handy as I needed to reapply this throughout the day for the best result.
Below is from Saturated Colour’s website

Make me shimmer highlighter I love this highlighter pencil. I have this on me at all times!
A multi-use shimmer pencil packed with pigment to add sparkle on top of your regular lipsticks, illuminate yours eyes, brows and cheeks – pretty much anywhere you wish to add a glow. The creamy formula is buildable and easy to blend, to add as much or as little shimmer as you desire. Great for adding sparkle to your cupids bow and highlight under brows.
Tips: Got a lipstick that is lacking a little sparkle in its life? One swipe of Make Me Shimmer over the top will transform your lipstick colour and give a frosted finish that everyone will be envious of. Sharpen the pencil to get a defined point for highlighting cupids bow or inner corner of your eye.
These are all really great products and unique in their own way. I love them all!
Let me know if you have tried any of the above of if you have any recommendations I could try. I’ll give anything a go once.
