I would firstly like to start off by saying I do the lottery as often as I eat sweets and cake, which is hardly ever. These are addictions I simply cannot afford to have, I instead treat these as small luxuries when I’m feeling lucky or happy (the cake part!)
A good few fellow bloggers warned me to steer clear of writing any gambling, alcohol or e-cigarette posts because they suggested this could possibly affect other PR’s from wanting to work with me in the future. After a long hard think I decided I would give the post a go. If I said I didn’t do the lottery ever that would be a lie (and I don’t lie because I suck at it!) although I don’t do this routinely by week I do occasionally and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. Lets be honest we are only human and you got to be in it to win it!
Come on, we’ve all imagined what it would be like to win the lottery, brand new shiny car parked outside, giving your boss the two fingers and walking out with your head held high knowing you will be ok, the 1st class holiday with all the extras. I literally need to stop because it’s exciting me just thinking about the possibilities!
I personally would love to win the lottery and I’m not going to be afraid to say that because of how others may perceive me. Winning the lottery would of course be not only amazing but it would take heaps of stress from my shoulders, it would allow my 2 children (Riley and Summer) and I to live comfortably without any money worries. I could massively invest in both their futures and focus on buying a house because one day when I’m not here I will know they are both set up for life. I would also help to support my local charities especially SNAAP who have massively supported my little family but have had their funding reduced further. I am currently at the completely other end of the scales and every day seems a real fight.
In the past when the prize had been a whopper and everyone is raving about it I have purchased a lucky dip or 2 but I am a complete beginner when it comes to gambling or betting I do not have the knack and it’s just as well as I’m a pretty bad looser at times! Needless to say I didn’t hold my breath and I didn’t become a millionaire! But like I said previously you got to be in it to win it sometimes.
Have you heard of Lottoland? I hadn’t before I started working on this campaign with them. I downloaded the app to have a little nose before I agreed the go ahead and not only did I get a little freebie on signing up (which I didn’t win anything – typical!) I have never seen so many lotto opportunities!
- Austrian Lotto
- Christmas Lottery
- French Lotto
- Irish Lotto
- Oz Lotto
- Polish Lotto
Theres much much more, the list is huge! I certainly wouldn’t have a clue where to begin. There is a section which offers a wide range of scratch cards to choose from and also a section for your account, activity and translations. The app is very user-friendly!
In a nutshell you pick your numbers in the same way as if you were buying a ticket for the official lottery draw. However instead of entering the draw you are betting on the outcome. This allows you to go for the same jackpot levels and prizes available on a wider range of lotteries from around the world that otherwise wouldn’t be available to you. You’ll receive the same prize money as if you had brought a ticket for the official lottery including the jackpot. Lotto land also offers some unique benefits such as free lines, bonuses, double jackpot and last-minute tickets giving you the freedom to bet on a much larger range.
I’m always open to new opportunities and will try anything once. Therefore I have saved the app on my phone for a day when I’m feeling a little lucky or when the next poo’s on me, haha! Fingers crossed for the kids and I 🙂
