I was one of the 12 lucky Mumbassador’s registered with ‘Talk to Mum’s‘ chosen to work with them on their very first campaign. The campaign was with Kettle and it was distributing Kettle Bites, maple barbecue flavour, whole grain waves to Mum’s and gaining feedback on what their thoughts were.
Easy peasy I thought! I’m always out and about with the kids, whether it’s doing the preschool run, a stay and play group or just wandering round to the park. Bumping into other Mum’s is something I do on a regular basis with my kiddies I think it’s inevitable for all us Mum’s, it’s as though we attract each other. This campaign would be a doddle for me.
On the 5th of May I received my delivery of Kettle Bites, oh my! Perhaps I was a little too over-confident…
4 huge boxes filled with 500 bags of Kettle Bites! I started to feel the pressure. Everyday I headed out I’d take my Kettle bag filled to the brim with bags of Bites and coupons to hand out to every Mum I spotted in sight. I had a lot of great feedback! More positives than negatives. With only 95 calories per pack, what is there not to love?
When I got accepted for the job I thought the whole grain waves were going to taste sickly, but actually I think they’re just the right amount of everything with just enough in a bag to keep you ticking over.
