Fate, Destiny Or Coincidence?!

On our way back home from taking the doggy’s for a walk Buddy pulled at the lead so hard I thought I was going to go head over heels! I looked up and saw a female, chocolate Labrador quite a bit smaller than Buddy, she was younger too.

We stopped and had a chat with the owner of the dog and her daughter. The other dog was jumping up at Buddy in a playful manner almost like she was happy to see him. To my complete amazement we had gotten both dogs from exactly the same place! This dodgy little farm in Cranbrook near Ashford.

Which I though was really strange as the lady lives just around the corner from me and Cranbrook is a good hours plus drive from here! We discussed how we thought it was a peculiar place and I said how I got Buddy in the end as I felt sorry for him!

The dogs played and sniffed at one another and we further discussed how she’d gotten her dog because her son is Autistic…OMG seriously?! That’s why I got Buddy because I had read online it is meant to help with Riley’s social barriers…which I hasn’t…yet!

George our Chihuahua cross Pug (Chug) was stood behind me barking and as I said Shh! The lady said it’s strange but I’m also looking to get a small dog like yourself too, it just got freakier and freakier!

I asked if the puppy had been neutered as Buddy wasn’t and perhaps we shouldn’t get them both too close. Apparently the female dog was going to be in season very soon and we discussed about getting them both together! The lady said she would hold out getting another dog as she’d have a puppy instead and also we could have a choice of a pup too.

How strange was that! Fate, destiny yo meet or a massive coincidence? Surprises like this always seem to happen to me, do they happen to you? What are your thoughts on this, crazy or what!

Fate indeed. We have a basset hound (Molly) and J adores her. I dread the day that she goes, I know we will have to buy another dog and hopefully J will cope somehow. I fall apart just thinking about it. I fully agree with dogs helping kids on the spectrum x
