Erin The Giraffe

I received an unexpectedly large package from Karen at erinthegiraffe.com last week. This was after I had gotten in touch saying I thought her designs were very original and super cute. I have a soft spot for giraffes as Riley used to have a giraffe toy that rattled and he used to take it everywhere. Well that was at least until everything changed when he hit 12-18 months (Riley was diagnosed severely Autistic in June 2015) I have stored away his toy for when he is older.

I saw Erin the giraffe via Instagram and there was a little something special about this account that drew me in to view each post one by one. Everything from cards, notepads, cups, to cushions, wrapping paper and rulers, it’s all there!

I absolutely love the collection of home ware and stationary featuring Erin. Not only are the designs unique and super cute but Erin (the giraffe) also helps to raise money for preschools and for the Giraffe conservation Foundation. So not only will you be purchasing a little something different that’s not found on the high street but you’ll also doing a good deed as part of your money will be going to a good cause.

The website is easy peasy lemon squeezy, it’s so user-friendly and everything you need is all there including a sale and a coming soon section. This talented lady has clearly thought of everything.

In my surprise parcel I received 5 greeting cards all with a different design. They were wrapped in sealed transparent plastic sleeve enclosed with an envelope. On the back of the cards is a contact email address for Karen.

2 plain paper notebooks both with a different design on the front. The outside card and the paper inside are of a good thickness and you can instantly tell these are a really good quality!

Last but not least a signed ‘In Love’ framed Erin print. It’s obvious that this has not only been made to a high standard but also a lot of care and time has been taken to finalize this product. The white wooden frame, the card inside with a subtle pattern, the print on matching card further inside the box, the cleanliness is all rather outstanding. This retails at £18.50 and in my opinion is worth every penny!

I can be a very critical person at times usually finding a flaw somewhere or another but I must say I’m really very impressed! I love to be different with stand out from the crowd designs and products. Erin is everything I hoped she would be. Even the packaging had been brilliantly thought out. The perfect sized box with attention to detail. There was bubble wrap around the framed print along with cotton wool around the outside of the frame to further protect this and a pretty piece of heart tissue paper at the bottom of the box a for a finishing touch. The parcel was clearly labelled and marked fragile in multiple places. Erin sticker labels gave the parcel a friendly, personal feel.

Not only have you now been introduced to this super cute design (if didn’t already know) but Karen has offered a very generous 20% off all orders throughout July using promo code MUMSY20

Go go-go what are you waiting for?!
